I came across this Mother Teresa quote and it was a fantastic reminder as we head into Christmas.
The older I get the more I come to realize that, in a lot of cases, the only things needed are love & time. Being there to help someone out.
Having enough love for people to be willing to drop what you’re doing and serve. Spending your time to talk to someone who needs a listening ear.
All of these things go for our children as well. Presents are nice, especially at Christmas, but without the love behind them they can often mean absolutely nothing.
On the flip side, a small, thoughtful gift from the heart can mean everything. This season, let us not forget what makes a gift special is the heart that is giving.
