Quote Of The Week

Learning is an important part of life. We learn every day in little and big ways, whether we realise it or not. You are constantly learning, while reading an article or book, practicing a new language, making a mistake, meeting someone new, talking to a friend, mastering a new skill, using a new online platform, watching the news or a TV show, watching YouTube DIY’s or even asking your parents a question.

All of these activities teach you social interaction, how to achieve/create something new, facts, ways to connect with yourself and so much more. Think about your everyday life outside of school or work. Look and see if you can identify all the new things you learned that day or what new thing you heard about.

Learning isn’t about knowing everything and being ‘smart’. It’s about self-improvement, confidence boosting, personal growth, creativity building (ability to translate skills and learned information into another setting), getting a broader worldview and mainly just staying current in every aspect of our lives whether that be work, school or social media.

What I want  you to know, is that learning is not a bad thing, it’s a great way to keep ourselves engaged in life and helps us make the most of our interests. By nurturing out mind, we are allowing ourselves to grow and opens up limitless opportunities.

Remember, if you don’t use it, you lose it. Learning is the best way to keep your memory sharp and your mind agile as you grow up.
